Hi. I’m Cari, (MOM, MAT, CPC x 2, MCLC) -- parent, teacher, and coach.
I’ve been exactly where you are: trying to build the parenting plane after takeoff.
Through a lot of trial–and a whole lot of error–over the past two decades, my family has learned how to understand each other, communicate thoughtfully, solve problems, and grow closer over time… all while honoring each individual’s needs, quirks, and values. And since parenting never really ends, I still work at it every single day.
I was a classroom teacher for 26 years. I know kids; I understand them. And I truly get what makes them tick.
I also know parents–because I’ve worked with thousands of parents to help them better understand their kids and meet their needs in a way that feels authentic and sustainable for the whole family.
Somewhere along the way, I earned a master’s degree (MAT), racked up loads of teaching certifications and awards, raised two children (MOM), read thousands of parenting books (so you don’t have to), and completed extensive training to become a Certified Parent Coach (CPC), a Master Certified Life Coach (MCLC), and a Certified Professional Coach (CPC).
Now, I use it all of it to help parenting make sense for people who want to do right by their kids–even if they don’t quite know how… yet.

I live in Atlanta, Georgia, with my partner of 34 years and our perfect pup, Willow. We are the parents of two amazing young adults.

For 30+ years, I’ve helped create connected families.
I am a Certified Parent Coach, a Master Certified Life Coach, and a Certified Professional Coach.
Before I was a coach, I was a classroom teacher for 26 years. I received my BA from Emory University and a Master’s in Teaching from Simmons University. I hold certifications in Special and General Education for Early Childhood and Middle Grades, and in Orton-Gillingham (Literacy approach for dyslexic learners; Massachusetts General Hospital).
I'm a spouse and a parent of two young adults & one perfect pup.

Through extensive training and experience, I’ve researched and developed tools that really help families. Most importantly, my own parenting journey has put me in your shoes and those of any parent facing the challenge of raising resilient, balanced humans in an unpredictable world. I approach my clients with the humility and absence of judgment of someone who’s been there.
"Cari is open, honest, and compassionate...
She helps us process difficult situations and life experiences in a constructive and actionable way. Cari is a wonderful human and has been so supportive of us and for us as we navigate our parenting journey.” L.G.
"Cari is our safety net...
She is relatable, and she gets us. We're not talking to an email or a TikTok reel. She's a real person and a genius. She always gives us perspective. Situations that feel overwhelming to us, dilemmas that have completely stumped us, they are no match for Cari and her wisdom. When we're unsure how to handle a situation, it's not as scary as it used to be because we know we can just ask Cari." M.L.
Honest and Insightful
“We previously took a parenting class, and I've read books, but that information can be dense and hard to retain. Cari helps us through the daily ups and downs in an honest and insightful way. She's given us new perspectives on the different stages our kids are in... and how to deal with each of them individually and together.” E.B.
If you're a parent who wants real change, not temporary quick fixes...
If you are ready to do the work, but need help figuring out where to start...
